Nicole O’Brien

Nicole has been in biotech for over 20 years focused on development and manufacturing of biotherapeutics. She is currently Chief Commercial Officer of Genezen, a leading viral vector CDMO. Prior, Nicole was Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Arranta Bio, a leading CDMO for mRNA and other biotherapeutics. Prior to this, Nicole was Executive Vice President, Client Management and Technical BD Operations at Brammer Bio, where she was responsible for global business development from 2016 to 2019, during a period of rapid growth and expansion – culminating in its sale to Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2019 for $1.7B. Prior to joining Brammer, Nicole held different techno-commercial roles at FujiFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, CMC Biologics and Patheon Biologics, as well as Scientist positions at Biogen and LPath Therapeutics. She received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, and Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of California, San Diego.
